FCC is a nondenominational organization of families who have adopted children from China. The purpose of FCC is provide a network of support for families who ve adopted in China and to provide information to prospective parents. The purpose of this site is to consolidate the information that has been put together by the families of FCC, in order to make it easier for future parents to consider adopting from China. A message from the presidents of FCC New England, Greater New York, Southern California and Northern California: We have received a reply to our letter of May 1, 2007 from the CCAA in Beijing. We had the letter translated twice because we wanted to have the clearest possible understanding of what it said. While you may note that each seems different in some ways, we have been told that both of these translations are correct in content and tone. We have provided both translation#1 and translation#2. Parenting Stress study of International Adoptive Families Parents with at least one child adopted from P.R. China are invited to participate in a study about their parenting practices. The purpose of the study is to gather information that can be used to identify appropriate post-adoption services for families and children in the future. Single mothers are especially encouraged to participate in the study. Fathers are extremely welcome.
