He will also observe USAID projects implemented by Mercy Corps to assist small businesses, veterinarians and herders. In Zavkhan and Bayankhongor, the Chargé will meet U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers serving in local communities. In addition, the Chargé will visit environmental sites, such as Otgontenger Mountain, as well as cultural monuments. Latest Headlines President George W. During his visit, Hendershot, accompanied by the U.S. Embassy s Regional Security Officer, met with Ministry of Justice State Secretary Bayasgalan, Acting Commissioner of the National Police, Major General Amarbold, and the Head of Administration of the Independent Authority Against Corruption Commissioner Badarch. Areas of common concern include organized or transnational crime, cyber crime, trafficking in persons (TIP) and counter-terrorism.
