Its mission is to support American business, to create greater exchanges between the United States and the regions of Central-Eastern France, and to provide information on the United States and American policy to American and French citizens in the regions of Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne and Bourgogne. The office provides limited consular services for American citizens. APP Lyon does not, however, accept visa applications or respond to inquiries about visas. All visa questions should be referred to the American Embassy Consular Services in Paris. The office is closed on French and American holidays.
