The opening was followed by a workshop for teachers on methods of teaching run by Margaret Cholodecki, Embassy’s English Language Fellow. The collection of the Young Learners Resource Center includes teaching methodology books that can be borrowed or copied, as well as handouts with practical materials for classroom use, including lesson plans. There is also a “processing corner” where teachers are able to use the die cut machine or laminator to allow them to prepare their own teaching materials for classroom use. All resources are free of charge. (more) Latest Headlines From the Consulate Donation of American Film Classics Collection to American Corner A collection of over 600 DVDs containing mostly American “classic” movies from the 40s, 50s and 60s was donated to the American Corner in Wroclaw by Piotr Piwowarczyk, founder of Mam Marzenie in Poland. The collection commemorates the life of an extraordinary human being, Joe Sedia. The DVDs are available for circulation.
