U.S. - Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission reaches to the South Colombo, April 18, 2008: Early this month the U.S.-Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission (US-SLFC) launched an educational advisory service project in association with Mahinda College, Galle and its Past Pupils’ Association. The primary purpose of the US- SLFC is the furtherance of mutual understanding between peoples of Sri Lanka and the United States through mutual educational exchange programs. “I am pleased to be a part of this pioneering effort of the Fulbright Commission to reach out to the student community in the South,” said U.S. Ambassador Robert Blake at the launching ceremony.
