Its a wonderful gift of life and a brave choice for the mother who carried through. You are giving the gift of life to another family who may not be able to create it. I love my birthmother and my adoptive mother both very much. Even though I have never met my birthmother, to us she is a blessing. I hope one day we may find each other again. I hope she is open to that because I know it may be painful to open the heartache back up. I mean the heartache of giving up a child so they could have a better life. Thats hard! I commend you on the decisions you made/make. But what sucks to me is that adoption.. being so wonderful and everything... not many people are willing to admit the grief that follows with it because its supposed to be such a good thing. And it is. but there is also grief. Grief from the birthfamily and grief from the adoptee. I will admit, I am grieving. I really miss my birthmother.. The 42 weeks I spent inside her was enough to bond us for life. I honestly hope she feels the same way. I just pray that one day God will lead us to eachother whe...
