The Looking Forward—A Global Response to Homeless Children conference brought together individuals from 43 countries. It was a time of thoughtful dialogue, exchange of ideas and new connections between individuals and organizations that together can help address the global crisis of homeless children around the world.
Holt International acknowledges the contributions of many who contributed to the success of the conference. We are especially grateful to the conference presenters who gave of their time and expertise on behalf of all of us and are pleased to share the written presentation of many of the speakers on this website.
Photos and additional conference follow up will be added soon.
Thank you to everyone who was a part of the Looking Forward conference.
The Eugene Declaration
Participants at the conference endorsed the Eugene Declaration, a prescriptive value statement that recognizes the need and right for every child to grow up in a family. Click here to sign the Declaration. In addition to representing the sentiment of many at the conference, Holt and others will use the declaration into the future as an advocacy and educational resource to rally behind.
