Sunday, October 21, 2007 Little Pumpkins Theres just no end to the words Mia is speaking now. Shes sometimes even putting two words together, especially when its to command our dog, Abbie, to sit...down...DONT! Mia continues to speak her "Chinese jibberish". Youll swear shes speaking her native tongue, but alas, how can that be Today in the Chinese restaurant she eyed someone at another table and proceeded to introduce her family to them. Her social skills have improved tremendously. She even stays in the nursery "alone" at church and is quite happy. How precious a childs love and the laughter is just icing on the cake! Not only has she captivated our hearts, but its spilled over to Grandmothers, cousins and others. Just two years ago she was born, but she was planned well in advance by God. Two years ago our paper-work touched Chinas soil as Hurrican Katrina touched the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We so desperately wanted our wait for her to be minimal, but alas God knew that her paper-work would not be ready until October of th...
