New pics in Home Photos and a cute cake-eating vid on Videos. We had a small gathering tonight, just a couple of Charli’s girlfriends dropped in for some cake and presents, we’re heading to the coast in the morning and will introduce Charli to some firsts on her Birthday, her first Ferry ride, her first beachcomb, her first touch and view of the pacific. We will be getting together with another family from our travel group on Sunday so Charli can catch up with one of the Linxiang Spice Girls and us parents can compare notes. Next weekend when we’re home we’ll be holding a bit bigger party. Charli loved her first cake…loved the gifts (especially the bags that stuff came in). She is getting more and more vocal, now imitating sheep sounds, bees, lions, bears and has been giving very wet kisses out lately. The BC Government FINALLY got their act together and we received Charli’s health care card today , now she can officially see the doctor without worry. We’ll post more next week.
